Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Manager / Lead who can manage Cloud Operation teams / SRE 24 X 7 and define and implement end-to-end processes with clear roles and responsibilities for our Cloud Operations team, as well as oversee the adherence to these processes.
The Job Description includes:
- Ensures high availability of all environments and the achievement of all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs)
- Defines the Service Operations Processes for AWS Cloud solutions
- Production support and operations of Infrastructure (Servers, Network, Storage, Security) and Applications (Distributed, Middleware, Databases across all tiers)
- Coordinate internal activities across the company and our cloud partners, ensuring achievement of the above responsibilities
- Innovate and actively look for improvements to Cloud Operations
- Identify and promote best practices and patterns for the setup, configuration and management including databases, servers, and network and storage systems
- Maintain a team-oriented working environment that promotes a high level of personal commitment and accountability and a continued focus on quality and efficiency
Requirements
The ideal candidates must have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience of IT with a significant part in Cloud Operations, management and support.
- Have minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Amazon Services/ technologies - EC2 tools, S3, AMI, RDS, EMR, EBS, Auto-scaling, Cloud watch monitoring and Elastic load balancing, WAF, Route53 etc.
- Strong knowledge of Roles and User Access Management (AWS IAM, O365, Atlassian)
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes
- Hands-on system administration experience in Windows/Linux-based platforms, load balancers, and virtualized environments (Amazon AWS).
- Should be familiar with reporting, Issue & Incident management tools and technologies
- Strong communication skill to communicate at all levels, which includes interaction within the team & with senior managemen
